B.2.b. Hillcrest Mennonite Church

On May 25, at the Solar Energy Information Night in Leamington, Rob Yost from Hillcrest Mennonite Church had a presentation that highlighted how their church had gone through the process of putting up a roof-top solar energy system.



Hillcrest Mennonite Church is the first Anabaptist church in Ontario to approve a solar project.
They will be installing a 10 kW system in June or July 2010.




I have a call into Rob and awaiting his response, hopefully to garner some more valuable information from him.


Upgraded Roof:

As you can see from the following 2 pictures that Hillcrest Mennonite Church has recently upgraded their roof.


As you can clearly see they have recently updated their roof before installing their solar energy system.

That is the perfect time to install a roof-mounted solar energy system.
